East Africa Crisis Appeal

It was planned that the charity Mile Run next Wednesday on Sports Day was going to raise money for the community charities; however, in light of the recent famine crisis in East Africa it has been agreed that the money will now be donated to the DEC East Africa Crisis Fund.  Over 10 million people are at risk in East Africa due to conflict and some areas being affected by the worst drought in 60 years.  The DEC East Africa Crisis Appeal will support the work of its members in affected areas of Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan.  The donations that students make will help provide life saving aid such as food, water, medical treatment and care for malnourished children.  If you would like further information on the situation in East Africa, please follow this link:
