School Bus Information
Parents may appreciate some advice on the question of transport. The South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach Company operates 5 coach routes for the sole use of John Cabot Academy students. They also run a late service for students staying on for after school clubs.

The South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach Company has said that these routes may be varied to take account of growing numbers and parental requests. If parents wish to use this service they should contact The South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach Company direct for details of the exact cost and booking arrangements. As a guide, the current price for one student for the academic year 2011/2012 is £600pa for Years 7 to 10 and £500 for Year 11 and Post 16. This price includes the late bus option.
We wish to emphasise that as an Academy we have not entered into any form of agreement with this company and if parents wish to use an operator other than The South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach Company then they are, of course, free to do so.
