Meet the Welfare Team Evening – Thursday 8 September
Written by Sam Crew on 05/09/2011 – 10:18 am -The start of year information evenings have changed this year with the usual presentations being replaced with a set of dates for the year ahead given out by letter. This, together with the now established month ahead diary on the Academy website, means that parents are kept much better informed about forthcoming events, rendering the annual information evening much less worthwhile.
Instead, the Meet the Welfare Team evening taking place this week is being used as an opportunity for our new Y7 parents to meet with Tutors and to reflect upon the first weeks of Academy life. This will be from 4.30pm – 5.30pm. Thereafter, parents of students in Years 8 – 11 who have any particular questions / concerns / comments pertaining particularly to their own child, can drop in to the Academy to speak to their Learning Co-ordinator from 5.30pm-6.30pm.
