The Role of ICT in Outstanding Teaching and Learning
The role of ICT in Outstanding Teaching and Learning
This course looks at a range of strategies to ensure that ICT is being used to develop and support Outstanding Teaching and Learning in all subjects at your school.
It covers strategies employed in ICT development, ICT use in the Outstanding classroom, Leading and managing an Outstanding ICT Support team, how to set-up, manage and extend a Moodle VLE as well as a free choice web 2.0 workshop.
How can ICT have a real impact on teaching and learning? What do you want your VLE to achieve and how do you want it to accomplish that? How can you use the model of a Teaching and learning focussed support team to improve the quality of ICT provision in your school? This course will provide an excellent insight into getting the most from ICT and give you some hands-on experience in developing resources.
This course will be of great benefit for teachers interested in using ICT in an innovative and, importantly, student focussed manner to the benefit of any subject in any school.
