Sports Day – Wednesday 21 July

The rescheduled Sports Day will be going ahead tomorrow as planned.   Details are:

• Students can wear their Community coloured PE kit, facepaint etc. No vest tops.
• Students should bring in £1.50-2 to buy a BBQ lunch if they wish.
• The Friends will be selling drinks, sweets, ice creams etc so students may want to bring in additional cash.
• Packed lunches can be eaten at any time, and the canteen will sell baguettes at break time.
• Students should bring a waterproof or bin bag to sit on should it shower late in the afternoon.
• Lessons 1-4 will happen as normal.
• The names of students and the events they are entered into are up on the boards outside the LCs office.  They can swap if they are not happy with their event.
• If students need to go to the toilet during the day they must collect a toilet pass from their LC then will be escorted up to the building.
• All staff can wear sporting/Community coloured PE kit. Should you be running or involved in the extremely competitive staff tug of war please wear appropriate footwear.

Please be aware that we are forecast some rain later in the afternoon (3pm onwards) should this arrive earlier or is extremely heavy we will use the following plan.

• If it rains early at around 1.45pm or is excessive, we will move back up to the Academy and p9/10 will take place as normal.  Registration will happen in new TGs if this happens.
• If it rains around 2.30/2.45pm then all students will be brought up to the Sports Hall for the results and prize giving before being dismissed for the buses from there.
